Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It also provides healing benefits. Reiki is administered by gently laying the practitioner’s hands on the body or in some cases holding the hands slightly above the body. The hands are placed in different positions as life force energy flows through the hands of the practitioner and to the body of the client. This energy serves to calm, relax, and heal by raising the life force energy within the body, mind, emotions, and spirit of the client.
Reiki is never harmful and brings a feeling of emotional well-being, peace, and calming. It is simple, natural and safe for spiritual healing and self-improvement. It has been effective in healing many illnesses or maladies throughout time. Reiki is also a great companion to other medical or therapeutic techniques to ease side effects and enhance recovery.
Reiki is spiritual in nature and not attached to any religion and so there is no expectation of belief to make it work. It is simply energetic healing sent from God through the practitioner to the client.
A Reiki treatment feels calming, peaceful, and healing to the body as a whole.
