I am Veronica Ortiz, blessed in so many ways, author of children’s books, angel card reader, Reiki master, loving mother and doting grandmother. I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and still reside in the area. I know that God has directed my path and continues to do so. I enjoy writing and interacting with people, especially with children as they are so open and innocent. The world is their playground and they have not yet become fearful or changed by society. We can learn so much through the innocence of a child and those lessons can create amazing shifts in our consciousness.
 
I enjoyed creative writing courses throughout my years in school and excelled in those classes. I still enjoy creative writing in many genres. I have written many poems and short stories.
 
Recently I wrote my first children’s book on the values of kindness. I was then offered a wonderful opportunity to assist the less fortunate in Los Angeles, California by creating a coloring book about kindness to animals for a charity event. This was such a joyful experience that it prompted me to create a memory card game about the values of kindness. This led me to self publish this set of children’s books and a memory card game to enhance the values of kindness for our children to learn and teach. It is through the innocence of children and the values instilled in them that we will all embrace a kinder, more loving world.
 
I also love my spiritual path that began over eleven years ago. I have always had a great faith in God but always wanted to experience more. I had a very challenging life up to the time I started on my spiritual journey. I began searching when I realized I had no heart or love to give to anyone; I was empty by my own choices up to that point.
 
I embraced many classes in my search including Astrology, Theta Healing, Reiki, and my favorite, Impact Training Quest. I was also guided to many amazing and enlightened people to walk with me on my journey. I grew to understand the shifts that I needed to make in my life and how to make them happen. I took a look at my life and the beliefs that were affecting me in this lifetime in a way that was not working for my best interests. I also was able to find my inner child and release my victim mentality, to forgive myself and others, and to embrace the truth of who I really am.  I know that the path to true joy and happiness lies in the power of forgiveness and gratitude.
 
I have been blessed with the energy of Reiki through a series of classes to become a Reiki Master. I enjoy sending loving energy for healing, calming, or cleansing as requested.  
 
I began many years ago doing tarot card readings but found them a little dark for my liking. One day I was introduced to angel cards and have been doing readings consistently since that day. I love the energy and the positive, uplifting messages that they provide. I love that they are a guide and that the messages are all changeable by shifts in your daily life. I also love that endings are really just new beginnings!
 
I am always happy to share insights and energy with others and occasionally a very inspired message. I am grateful for all the many blessings and miracles that have appeared and continue to appear in my life. I seek to create a peaceful, centered, spiritual, accepting and loving existence for myself. I hope to inspire the same for all of those that my life touches. Namaste’
